Returns/Lost Items
I will accept returns within 14 days provided the goods are unused and in their original packaging i.e. fit for resale. The buyer is responsible for return postage charges and selecting sufficient cover for the goods. Please contact me before purchase if you have any questions - I will be delighted to advise you on any yarns/fibres/projects etc.
I only take responsibility for lost items which have been tracked and signed for up to the amounts listed above. If you select a lower postage rate I can only cover up to the amount stated.
Packaging
My packaging is all made from recycled material which is itself recyclable.
Inclusivity Statement
As a community our experiences are varied. Nobody knows what the other has been through, but we listen to each others’ stories and accept that we may never know or fully understand some of these emotions and feelings. It does not make them any less real or relevant. The act of trying to sweep them under the carpet is regressive and painful to those who have taken the risk to be open and highlight under-discussed and often unseen issues.
Dyestuffs
I use locally collected plants from my garden and the surrounding area. I only pick where plants are plentiful and the overall ecosystem is not under threat. In addition I buy dried plants from local growers or UK companies as well as some responsibly sourced extracts. Please ask if you would like more information.
Yarn and Fibre
Ideally I would like to source all my fibre locally but I'm aiming for UK sourced and spun in the main. The glaring exception to this is the mohair/silk - I would be very interested to hear about any suggestions/affordable alternatives. I have been informed by my mohair/silk supplier that they are aiming to gain the Responsible Mohair Standard certification (which starts with the farmers in South Africa).
