So exciting to be able to dye onto one of my favourite worsted spun bases. This beautiful longwool blend takes the dye readily and has been fantastic for painting variegated colourways as well as the usual lovely semi-solids and tonals. Also available in 50g and 100g single skeins, sets and mini skein bundles.
This set of minis was inspired by an unexpected party my friend Debs and I stumbled upon in the Chapel Arts centre in Bath. For me Bath was mainly about work and career but I made some brilliant friends there and have fond memories of dancing, gigs, clothes and excellent food. If you like these colours I have one 5 x 50g set available as well.
Colourways: 'Bath Stone', 'Bath Stoned', 'Stumbling on a Party', 'It's The End of The World as We Know It' and 'Gudrun'.
Yarn: John Arbon's Devonia 4ply fingering. Exmoor Blueface, Devon Bluefaced Leicester and Devon Wensleydale.
Mass/length: approx 45g/ 175m
Dyed with oak, cutch, madder, sorghum and lac.
Country of Origin: wool sourced and spun in Devon.
Care: cool, gentle handwash with pH neutral soap and rinse. Blot gently with a towel and block to shape. Yarn has been rinsed clear after dyeing but leave-in wool washes can cause bleeding.
Effort is made to capture colours as accurately as possible but monitors etc differ. Please message if you would like to discuss colours.
